If you've been waiting for 7 to 10 days without any communication from the embassy, it might be time to consider sending an inquiry email to the consular office. In this blog post, I'll provide you with valuable guidance on navigating this process.

First and foremost, it's important to note that sending an inquiry email is not mandatory. Consular offices handle various visa cases simultaneously, and your case under administrative processing will be reviewed according to their working schedule. So, there's no need to panic if your case falls under this category. Rest assured, if your information is valid, your educational details are accurate, and your medical report is clear, you are likely to receive your visa.

For those who find themselves in administrative processing due to specific demographic criteria, such as being unmarried above the age of 25 or married without children above the age of 35, there's no cause for concern. Your case will undergo administrative processing, and you will eventually receive your visa.

However, it's crucial to be honest and transparent in your application. If you fail to meet educational requirements, submit fake information or documents, or neglect to include your spouse or children in the DS-260 form, there's a high probability that your case will be scrutinized by the consular office. DV2021 Case Processing update of Nepal (Up to 5 September 2021)

The fiscal year of the DV 2021 visa issuance process is coming to an end on September 30. In this context, there are clear indications that not even 60% of the DV 2021 visas will be issued through the regular process, which is a matter of concern for the winners of DV 2021. As you may know, the US government court has not been able to give a promising verdict in favor of any of the DV 2021 lawsuit proceedings. In this sense, there is a question mark over the possibility of getting a visa for those who spend a lot of money to participate in the lawsuits. In the year 2021, 3801 Nepalis were selected for the DV lottery program, which is the second-highest number of DV winning country in Asia. According to the DV Lottery Charts' data published on 1st September, 31% of the winners have so far received visas, with 531 receiving visas and 522 being interviewed.
