Disheartening Update for DV 2023 Winners: Visa Issuance Limit Reached, No More Visas Available

In a disheartening turn of events for Diversity Visa (DV) 2023 winners, the dream of starting a new life in the United States has been shattered. The email revealed that the visa issuance for the fiscal year 2023 has reached its limit, and no further DV2023 visas will be issued. As of September 7, 2023, the Department of State has confirmed that all available Diversity Visas for the 2023 DV Program have been issued. This news comes as a significant disappointment to DV2023 winners from eligible countries worldwide, particularly those with high case numbers. To put this into perspective, Nepal alone had 3,808 DV2023 winners, including derivatives.
