REGULATORY CHALLENGE LITIGATION- New Lawsuit for DV2021 Winners DV2021

DEADLINE TO JOIN LAWSUIT:

15 JUNE 2021

What is the purpose of this issue?
This issue will challenge the government's failure to provide adequate facilities to DV2021 selectors during a global epidemic.

If successful, the issue will facilitate participants to prioritize currently open embassies and consulates or to relocate to other embassies and consulates.

Who is eligible to participate in this issue?
The winner of any DV 2021, who won the D.S. If you have filled up Form 260 or sent the document to KCC, you are eligible to participate in this issue.

What if you have already participated in another Lawsuit?
If you are involved in any other lawsuit or mandamus for visa protection, there is no conflict of interest in joining this regulatory challenge as the claims and relief sought do not overlap.

How is this issue different from other DV 2021 lawsuits?
With the complaint, we urge the judge to file the Temporary Restraint Order (TRO) for immediate extraordinary relief. This ensures that we get a quick decision from the court; If successful, some procedural hurdles for the interview will be removed. For this reason, we see this regulatory challenge as an issue seeking adequate relief in the form of a visa decision or protection of eligibility.

How much does it cost to participate in this issue?
It will cost $500 to participate. If you have previously participated in Gjoici Vs DOS and Nepal Vs DOS (Plaintiffs), there is no charge.

How to participate?
Fill out the form at the link below and you will be notified of the rest of the process via email.

DV2021 Case Processing update of Nepal (Up to 5 September 2021)

The fiscal year of the DV 2021 visa issuance process is coming to an end on September 30. In this context, there are clear indications that not even 60% of the DV 2021 visas will be issued through the regular process, which is a matter of concern for the winners of DV 2021. As you may know, the US government court has not been able to give a promising verdict in favor of any of the DV 2021 lawsuit proceedings. In this sense, there is a question mark over the possibility of getting a visa for those who spend a lot of money to participate in the lawsuits. In the year 2021, 3801 Nepalis were selected for the DV lottery program, which is the second-highest number of DV winning country in Asia. According to the DV Lottery Charts' data published on 1st September, 31% of the winners have so far received visas, with 531 receiving visas and 522 being interviewed. The details are briefly presented in the table below. Total DV Winners   3801
